PRACTICE CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

Our practice will remain open as usual throughout the lockdown, we are here to help with your urgent and routine dental needs.

These are the new measures introduced at Sacoor Dental for your safety:
At reception:
Patients can only visit the surgery if they have a booked appointment...
To reduce the time you spend in the surgery we have introduced online Medical History and Covid Triage forms which patients are requested to complete before their appointment.
Temperature and Covid status is checked for all staff and patients before they enter. Masks are mandatory on the premises and, hand sanitisers are available throughout. A protective barrier screen has been placed at reception to keep social distance as well as only specified seating can be used. Extra cleaning is undertaken of the reception area: stairs, handrails and door handles are cleaned regularly using Hypochlorous Acid.
In surgeries:
All the team use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, e.g. FPP3 masks, gowns as advised by Public Health England ( PHE).
Longer appointments are allocated to patients to allow for social distancing and extra cleaning . Staff are trained to follow very strict cleaning and disinfection procedures in line with Covid-19 guidance following all treatments.
An air ventilation system installed in the surgeries to ensure all bacteria and aerosols are removed effectively.
All these extra precautions have been introduced for your safety.
